Paint removal from Brickwork

Paint removal is again a craft that should only be undertaken by a specialist.

Paint hides multiple problems.

The main problem being the moisture that is being trapped in the external walls.

Paint along other materials suffocate your property.

The walls need to be able to breathe out it's moistures.

Failing to do so results in deteriorating brick work and damp issues.

Most common problems in property's.

People are paying out for all sorts of treatments that in fact really don't work.

I always strongly advice potential clients to do some research on Paint removal.

I also would also advise to always request a sample from any person or company quoting for works.

Paint removal is a great way to give your property a facelift. We use old & new techniques to perfect the exterior view of your property & restore it to it's original glory, adding value to your property.

Sometime and as is often the case, the paint on brickwork hides a mulitude of faults that are mostly down to previous BAD remedial work.

Sometimes after removing paint we discover that someone (in the past) had thought it a good idea to skim the bricks with pollyfiller before painting it. There is NO chemical that can remove it.

To get the property back to brick rather than the ugly brick damaging paint, the only way is to remove any and all sand filler off the brickwork.

This sort of work should only be tackled by a very experienced restorer or the building could become an eyesore. We are highly skilled in doing this type of work for clients.
